The season at Cinco Rios Chile runs from the first of Dec. 15 to April 15. They have a great diversity of fishing, ranging from the meandering spring creeks of the Patagonian pampas, to the crystal clear waters of the western temperate rainforest with spectacular views of mountains and glaciers. Guests fish for wild brown and rainbow trout, and have an option of fishing for King and Coho Salmon. Your host and lodge owner Sebastian Galilea, whose family settled in the area over 100 years ago, has special access to numerous waters you may fish by floating, jet boat and on foot. Some of the waters fished are the Simpson, Paloma, Azul, Desague, Nireguao, Emperador Guillermo, Manihuales, Toqui, Coyhaique and Huemules. In addition to all these, there are lake options and no-name creeks.

Cinco Rios has developed an innovative cuisine that features the essence of the region. They use the best local ingredients such as range fed beef, lamb, wild morels, fresh herbs from their organic garden and fish from the Chilean fjords. Pairing this local cuisine with a range of wines from Chile’s boutique wineries makes for memorable meals.
