From February 1 ro Mid April chrome bright steelhead enter the rivers of the north Oregon coast. Fresh, strong, bright fish from the Pacific Ocean is what this fishery is all about. As the Oregon Coast is a temperate rainforest, the weather and the river levels are always changing, but with an option of seven different rivers to fish, it is rare for everything to be either blown out or too low.

Scott O’Donnell is an excellent guide, angler, spey caster and fly tyer. His years of guiding and fishing on the Oregon Coast, Skagit valley, Grande Ronde and Alaska have made him one of the best steelhead guides around. He is known for being an extraordinary and fluid spey caster. He, along with others, helped design what we use as modern spey lines and he was a contributor to the Rio video “Modern Spey Casting”. He is the co-originator of the MOW tips with Mike McCune and Ed Ward. Whether you are fishing a single day or several, Scott will make you a better angler and caster.

Scott uses a NRS self-bailing raft for guiding. Rod/line outfits, flies, lunch, drinks and snacks are included in each days fishing.
