Fishing and Species
The fishing is all accessed by either a drift boat or a raft on day floats. The fishing is done while wading and swinging flies with 2 handed rods. Presentation ranges from the variable sink rate MOW tips up to 12.5 feet of T14 or more. The river volume and clarity are very dynamic, with a wide range of fishable flows.

There are a limited number of non-fishing activities on the Oregon coast in the winter.

Nick Rowell, Anadromous Anglers
Guide Nick Rowell is very experienced and knowledgeable guide and a brilliant fly tyer. He fishes on the Northern Oregon coast from December to mid April for winter Steelhead. Depending on the water fished he uses a raft or drift boat. This is swinging spey rods for steelhead.
